First, I was puzzled with the post. It's such a common thing in Finland, it's actually has become the standard here, so it still surprises me that some people don't see it much. Another example would be a dish drying cabinet (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dish_drying_cabinet)—it's a mystery to me why it hasn't become a worldwide standard either.
